Bennu Group Launches Open Beta of HerculesX – the first SaaS Business Tool to Support CEMM

Wednesday, July 9th, 2008

Dallas, Texas, USA (PRWEB) – July 9, 2008 – In another industry first, the Bennu Group announces the general availability Open Beta of HerculesX – the first SaaS Business Tool to support CEMM and the advanced BPM approach CEMM encapsulates.

HerculesX supports the entire CEMM approach to customer alignment and process improvement – the same approach that underlies the Certified Process Professional program that has received worldwide acclaim. The Open Beta program provides free public access to HerculesX through September 31, 2008.

Closed beta testing of HerculesX was conducted with people from 4 continents and 12 countries. “You’ve got a great product that deserves all the recognition and socializing it can get!!” commented Nikki Alberts of HBOS Australia while Theo Priestly (Head of BPM, UK Consultancy) states “these guys are blazing the trail in online, on-demand BPM with their HerculesX tool. Its value is in its simplicity and no other tool I’ve seen can document your processes and show you how close you are to true customer alignment so clearly without heavy investment.”

Delivering HerculesX as “Software as a Service” (SaaS) provides a low-cost, pay as you go, no maintenance and no software to install use model. This approach makes HerculesX available to a larger audience while increasing results for everyone using the tool.

“This is a critical milestone for us,” stated Bennu Group CEO Terry Schurter. “HerculesX dramatically improves both the degree of success and personal productivity of the people who use it. In what is called ‘Intersectional Innovation’ (as referenced in the book The Medici Effect by Frans Johansson) HerculesX breaks new ground on multiple levels in how we align and optimize our processes, and how we interact with the tools we use in doing that.”

CEMM (the underlying Method of the Certified Process Professional Program) presents a new way to understand process, identify opportunities and implement changes that simultaneously create Increased Revenues, Decreased Costs and Enhanced Customer Service (the Triple Crown). HerculesX is the first product to support the entire CEMM approach.

“HerculesX is a new breed of software application. Instead of forcing you into doing things a certain way, HerculesX focuses on helping you get things done. Through its simple design and minimal rule set, you can begin to document, analyze, and improve any process immediately,” said Alex Morse, Bennu Group Chief Architect.

Giving it all away for FREE

Thursday, March 6th, 2008

Yes the evolution brought about by Customer Expectation Management (CEM) and Successful Customer Outcomes is well and truly underway. We have talked before about banks giving free money, airlines providing seats at no charge and PC suppliers handing kit to charities at no cost. These emergent strategies have now been articulated in an excellent book (FREE of course) - see the links below.

More so respected magazines such as WIRED are creating waves as they too present reasons and evidence of what the FREE business models implies for all of us, consumers, businesses and society in general. There are a range of books feeding this fire now and we provide several links that you may wish to pursue.

How could your company start giving away its products and services? What would your processes look like if your business started giving away its core product for free? (more…)

BPM makes an impression in Saudi Arabia

Sunday, February 10th, 2008

Don Smith, Bennu Group Lead Coach reports from Riyadh…

It started out like most CPP Open classes with two exceptions; I was wearing the same clothes I had started the trip in four days earlier and most of the participants were wearing the traditional Arabic Thobes and Ghutras. I was impressed with their English (much better than my Arabic!) and they were very gracious. However, as we progressed into the meat of the CPP course material, I became aware that this group was different from many others and not in a cultural way. They were really getting what course was about and they were by far the most enthusiastic when it came to the hands-on exercises. (more…)

The Process Data Fallacy – Why Process Data rarely serves the purpose for which it is intended

Tuesday, January 29th, 2008

This is a very important article for anyone involved in process automation, work flow and process data collection. In reading this article your understanding of process will be transformed…

There’s a widespread belief that the data behind process is unmined gold, a mother lode just waiting for us to dig it out. Much of the premise behind many of the BPM technology approaches is based on this belief. Yet it is a very dangerous belief and for those who are following this path (and yes, you have lots of analysts and pundits telling you to go there) the discovery is that it’s like invading a foreign country. What looked like a clean sweep didn’t turn out that way and once you’re in, you can’t get out. Soon it becomes a resource hog draining the life out of the organization.

What is the fallacy? Let’s set the landscape.

Innovation Goes Online!

Monday, December 17th, 2007

The Bennu Group is pleased to announce that the CPP Level 3 training module is now available in our Online Training system! This marks a major milestone for Bennu Group, delivering against early commitments to have all three of our advanced process management techniques available in our online training system by the end of 2007.

What’s unique about the process innovation technique in CPP Level 3? This is the only process innovation that has consistently uncovered a myriad of new improvement opportunities in the processes it has been applied against. From Improved to Radical (fundamentally resetting the customer value proposition in the market place), this is the technique being used by market leaders to drive their tactical and strategic initiatives.
